Circled protectively by the rocky, fir-covered slopes of the mountains, these lush, green-grassed hunting grounds are home to many hooved animals, such as deer and moose. The rut and birth of the deer is held here, as well, despite the threat from predators. Scadi and Kirini wolves spend most of their time here, planning and perfecting hunting strategies, new and old, watching their prey's behavior along with taking in the weather, and planning their next hunt. Kuires and Yunns who want to be a Scadi or Kirini one day also are frequent visitors here, often talking with and helping the trackers and hunters of the pack; some are even lucky enough to receive a lesson on tracking and hunting by the experts themselves!
When the sun is out and shining, bright as can be, many wolves, hunters and trackers or not, often come and stroll here, especially when the flowers are in bloom. The large expanse of meadow is always very fragrant and fresh-smelling, and it draws them in like birds to seed; many yunns take the pups to play in the long grass. A noticeable thing pups always seem to do here, though, it jump over the sea of green, rock to rock. It actually gave the Kirini the idea of chasing prey towards especially rocky areas of the field, causing them to stumble or trip, perhaps fall. So, you see, even pups help provide for the pack!
